I found an interesting diversion on the road between Oklahoma City and Amarillo, Texas.
There’s this this rather wonderful aeronautical museum, the Thomas P. Stafford Air & Space Museum (Exit 84 I-40 W). It has some really cool exhibits from pristine Saturn 5 F1 rocket engines to Alexei Leonov’s MiG 21 and a ton of Tom Stafford lunar memorabilia.
Great museum…
$5 to get in and I was one of only 3 visitors! Best way to explore a museum .
